From concerts to bike rides to long hikes, summer is chockfull of exciting outdoor events. So, get out there and have some fun in the sun (before it’s too late). Here is a list of our favorite outdoor activities to try this summer.
Take a hike
Toss on your hiking boots, grab a bottle of water and hit the road. If you love to explore new places, check out local parks and trails.
Whether it’s rough terrain or a more leisurely hike, be sure to wear our new Sport Outdoor t-shirts and underwear. The soft, lightweight fabric works as hard as you do by wicking away sweat and fighting odor to leave you fresh and dry. Plus, strategically placed mesh helps cool you down so you can keep trekkin’ on.
Join an intramural sport league
Whatever your sport, summer leagues are a great way to get some exercise, meet new people and enjoy a little friendly competition.
Try yoga outside
If planks, child’s pose and downward dog have you feeling all zen and relaxed, grab your mat and take it outdoors. Practice on your own in a park or find an organized class.
Go on a bike ride
There’s nothing quite like feeling the wind in your hair and the sun on your back. Search for bike routes in your area or find a long, windy trail. Biking is an excellent way to be out in nature—and get some exercise, too.
The perfect style to wear on your cycling adventure? Jockey® Double Layer Shorts. They let you work out in the comfort and security of double-layer support. Plus, they feature a perforated outer layer to help enhance ventilation for breathable coverage. Top off your look with a sports bra that matches your intensity level and meets your style needs.
Head to the park
Bring your best buddy to the dog park for a game of Frisbee or fetch. You’ll get a welcome dose of fresh air and slobbery kisses, while he (or she!) gets to run around and greet all his furry friends. Be sure to wear wicking activewear so you can keep up with him!
S’mores, campfires and tents… what could be better? Round up the troops for some good ol’ fashion fun out in the wilderness.
Don’t forget to bring you’re scary storytelling a-game or your Active Mesh (Sporties Mesh for her) Underwear— you can wash them at night and they’re ready to go by morning (plus they provide breathability in case something unexpected happens)!
Take a dip (or a ride)
Head to the water for an afternoon swim or a spin around the lake. Feeling a bit more adventurous? Trade in the pontoon for a kayak and up the thrill factor. Don’t forget to pack an extra pair of underwear to change into!
Whatever adventure’s calling your name, get out there, do what you love and experience all that nature has to offer.
