For the second year, Jockey has signed on to sponsor the Wisconsin Marathon, and in 2010 Jockey will be the Presenting Sponsor of the two-mile Family Fitness Walk. The Marathon and Walk will take place on Saturday, May 1, 2010 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

“Not everyone can run a marathon or a half-marathon,” said Jonathan Cain, Race Director. “But that does not mean that fitness isn’t important to them. This two-mile walk was created to promote overall fitness, and we are very thankful that a company like Jockey shares the same desire to promote fitness within their local community.”

“We at Jockey are proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Wisconsin Marathon’s Family Fitness Walk. Jockey has been supporting families for more than 100 years, and we’re excited to support families by promoting health and wellness, too,” said Mo Moorman, Public Relations Director at Jockey.

The first 300 people to register for the Family Fitness Walk presented by Jockey will receive a Jockey t-shirt. The walk starts at the Wisconsin Marathon’s start line and will continue along the path next to Lake Michigan. It will start at 7:20am, twenty minutes after the start of the marathon and half-marathon.

Jockey will also have a tent at the event, where volunteers will be giving out FREE products , goodies and information.
