How to make the BEST snowman

7 tips for creating the BEST snowman on the block this year…
#1: Location, location, location
You may be tempted to put your snowman front and center in your yard for all to see. However, the best place is underneath a tree or in a location that is partially protected. This will give Frosty a better chance to brave the elements and last longer!
#2: Make sure you have wet snow
Powdery or icy snow is not ideal—it doesn’t pack! It’s best to wait for conditions where the snow falls and it is just below freezing (or just above freezing).
#3: Start at the bottom
Begin by getting a handful of snow, pack it into a small to medium sized ball and then roll that ball around on the ground in front of you until it is large enough to support the rest of your snowman. Then do the middle, and the top part of your snowman’s body.
#4: Make arms out of snow
Rather than sticks for your snowman’s arms, using snow helps your snowman look more real. Plus it’s lets you add some personality. Your snowman could be waving to cars or giving the thumbs up.
#5: Accessorize your snowman with old things
Save your favorite hat, mittens and scarf for yourself. Your snowman will still be styling in your in old things. Whatever you choose, just make sure that you are willing to part with them (i.e. winter wind, snowman thieves).
#6: Use food coloring for festive features
You can still go old school with rocks and buttons, but add some emotion and glam with blush, eyelashes, freckles, etc. Get creative!
#7: Add some Jockey® flair
You’ll be sure to get a laugh if your snowman is wearing Jockey® underwear. Does your snowman prefer boxers or briefs? You could even make a baby snowman with our Jockey® Mini Brief Keychain! (Be sure to add your undies before you add the middle ball to your snowman. See tip #3)
Now, bring on the perfect snow & weather conditions. Good luck & ‘tis the season for building snowmen!
