Before the event began, Jockey® employees teamed up to pack and prepare gift bags for the first 500 guests. Inside the bag, event-goers received: two pieces ofJockey® staycool underwear, mini brief key chain, 20% off coupons to use on their next purchase, two lotion/soap sets, and a Jockey® Factory Store water bottle. (Not a shabby bag of goodies!)

Decorated in the Florida Gators and Denver Broncos blue and orange, fans eagerly awaited the arrival of the evening’s special guest. The crowd featured local business professionals, Kenosha residents, Jockey and Tebow fans along with many more.

The opening ceremonies included a brief welcome message from Jockey® CEO Debra Waller and Tim Tebow, topped off by the official celebratory cutting of the ribbon (or as we do it, the Jockey® waistband). Then, as event visitors entered the store, they were each greeted with their very own Jockey® gift bag. In addition, all fans were able to enter their name into a raffle for a chance to win an autographed copy of Tim Tebow’s new book “Through My Eyes” along with other signed memorabilia. Fans had the opportunity to enjoy their very own mini photo-shoot with Tim Tebow. For those unable to make it inside (it was a full house!), Tim made sure they knew he hadn’t forgotten about them. He delivered a little “Tebow time” by taking a stroll down 6^th Ave to shake hands and pose for pictures. We also made sure everyone in line outside received their Jockey® gift bag.

As the night proceeded, fans continued to pack the house, spreading enthusiasm and creating a buzz all throughout downtown Kenosha. With the cameras flashing, laughs were shared and memories were made. In addition to the exciting Tim Tebow meet and greet fans enjoyed tremendous in-store savings. With 30-75% off everyday savings coupled with an additional 20% off for guests using the Facebook Places ‘check-in’ feature on their smart phone — this event had a little something for everyone.

The event was a blast, and we were sad to see it end. We want to give a special thank you to everyone who came out and helped celebrate the grand re-opening of our new Jockey® Factory Store in downtown Kenosha! We certainly had fun and we hope you did too! Oh, and meeting Tim Tebow, that was pretty awesome, too!
