It’s inevitable. At some point during the winter, we’ll get hit with a snow storm that is best experienced from the comfort of the couch. That storm is hitting the east coast this weekend. Stay safe, and warm.
Hunkering down and staying in the house for a day, or two, requires some ideas on how to stay busy and have fun. Or relax and nap. Either way, we’ve come up with some ideas for not letting the storm ruin the weekend. And allow you to be comfortable and stylish. Here are seven for you:
Put another log on the fire, curl up on the couch in the comfort of flannel, with your favorite book in hand and let the coffee brew. And relax.
Jogger pants are very on trend. And you’ll need them if you’re going to play hide-and-go-seek with the kids.
Puzzles are a great way to pass time and work together as a family. Pants with a little stretch help if you’re putting the puzzle together on the floor.
Take the kids in the kitchen, roll up the sleeves and bake cookies or pizza. Or both!
A movie? Check. Popcorn? Check. Comfy fleece pants? Check.
Once the storm passes, and you’re done clearing the walkway, building a snowman is a great way to get fresh air and exercise. Just make sure you have a good thermal base layer!
Stay safe and warm!
