Jockey’s New Year’s Resolution

Ready or not, 2013 is here … and so are New Year’s Resolutions. Woo woo, right? Not so much.

After a recent Facebook fan poll, many of our fans are giving New Year’s Resolutions a thumbs down. As for us, we’ve got one REALLY important resolution – be a great resource for all things underwear. We all wear undies, why not learn ways to be more comfortable and confident in them? Seriously, nothing ruins a day quicker than a wedgie.

Throughout the course of last year, we asked both our Facebook and Twitter fans tons of questions about underwear: what to wear underneath a particular wardrobe piece; should you iron underwear; is underwear a reflection of one’s true personality; best way to eliminate a muffin top; is it weird to buy underwear for other people; which style of underwear do men look best in; should bra and underwear match; do men really use the fly on their underwear, etc.

Through those questions, we noticed a trend – our fans not only enjoyed answering our questions, but they liked hearing others opinions. In fact, fans started leaving us Facebook messages wondering if we could ask a question on our page. This got us thinking.

To be a great resource on all things underwear, we need to include questions you’re interested in learning about. So, let’s chat.

LEGENDARY SERVICE … That Goes Right To The Heart

Joanne S., of California, had a rough day; her beloved dog was diagnosed with cancer.

“I was just devastated,” she recalls. “And then I got a courtesy call from (Jockey) customer service thanking me for my order, and somehow that young lady (Jockey Customer Care representative Melinda) sounded so caring, I just spilled my guts.”

While Melinda’s kind tone impressed her, Joanne couldn’t believe her eyes when she got a sympathy card in the mail from Melinda and all the folks at Jockey. “It may seem like a small gesture, but it’s not. It’s the heart. I can tell you that I didn’t get a card from anybody but Jockey. It meant a lot to me to know that someone cares, really cares. How do you put a price on that?”

LEGENDARY SERVICE … That’s Red, White and Blue

“He’ll be home for Christmas.” That’s what Diane F., of Nebraska, shared when she called Jockey personal shopper Sandy.

Diane’s son was coming home from Afghanistan and a lot of his clothes weren’t coming with him.  So, she called Jockey to buy him a new “under-wardrobe” of all his Jockey favorites.

After the order was placed, Sandy and the entire Consumer Care team sent Diane’s son a range of red, white and blue underwear along with a special card expressing appreciation for his military service.

“I thought it was just wonderful and amazing. It shows that you’re more than great underwear, you’re great people,” said Diane.

When Toni C. of California celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary, she received an unexpected gift that stole the show.

“Everybody kept asking, who sent the beautiful flowers? I kept telling them this nice lady Vivian that I talked to at Jockey when I ordered underwear. I mentioned my anniversary while on the phone and the next thing I know, a lovely floral arrangement appeared at my door. Now-a-days, companies have to stand for something, and Jockey sure seems to do that. Anyway, thank you so much!” said Toni.
