On May 9th Jockey employees lined the sidewalks of the Jockey Factory Store standing on their heads. Crazy? Sure. But, the handstands served a very important purpose.
The 2012 “Turn a Life Around” campaign began May 1st with handstand flash mobs in Appleton, Madison, Milwaukee, La Crosse, Eau Claire and Kenosha. Flash mobs will continue to take place all month long.
To check out photos from our flash mob at the Jockey Factory Store, see the photo album below.
We’d love to hear, have you or any one that you know experienced the joy of adopting a child?

As a guy, I can attest to this statement: Most men won’t buy new undies until the waistband detaches from the garment. Why you ask? Let’s just say it’s an unsolved mystery. Thankfully, some of us have a person that reminds us when it’s time to freshen up our top drawer.
For our newest customer, this person was his girlfriend. Prior to Bill’s visit to a Jockey outlet store, he had no idea he needed new underwear (luckily his girlfriend did) and hadn’t thought of Jockey as a brand for him. Now? It’s the only thing he’ll cover his backside with.
Over the last year and eight months I have become a big fan of Jockey brand underwear. I have always felt that the Jockey brand product was a “dads” or “older man” product. I’m 34 years old. Last year, I was out shopping with friends at an outlet mall and I got dragged into a Jockey store. My girlfriend told me that I needed new underwear (I hadn’t noticed). Since the prices looked good for a 3-pack, I bought a package of Classic Boxer-Briefs with the regular fly (the Pouch type was a little weird for me). Over the next few days as I wore them; I liked them. For the last 15 years, I have worn other brands of underwear. While I was in the store that day, I signed up for the Jockey Rewards Program. A couple of weeks ago, I earned a $10 Rewards Certificate.
I live in New England and it was starting to get cold. I hate wearing thermals. When I was in the store a few months prior, I noticed the Midway Pouch Boxer-Briefs. I thought I should give them a try instead of buying thermals. Bought a package, wore them and they are great on cold days. I went back about a month later and picked up 3 more packages of the Midway Pouch Boxer-Briefs because of a great price. My underwear drawer is now 100% Jockey. All of my older non-Jockey underwear is gone.

We’d love to hear, can you relate to Bill’s story? Do you have someone reminding you (or do you have someone to remind) it’s time for new undies? Leave it in a comment below.
See you on social,
Roy K., of Alaska, says he HAD to call Jockey to express his appreciation for the “amazing” customer service he received in January.
“Sorry it took so long, but we’re finally thawing out here and just now getting out of our homes again,” he joked.
It was snow that occasioned the Legendary Service he received from Jockey personal shopper Donna G. “I was telling her about the snow, we were just buried,” he recalls. “I wondered how, or if, we’d ever get out of our house. I told Donna to visit us and bring a shovel.”
Unfortunately, Donna couldn’t make it. BUT, she sent a shipment of coffee and hot chocolate to help Roy and his family make it through winter.
“The card she sent was just lovely,” he adds. “I don’t talk about my underwear with people, but now I talk about Jockey. How could I not?” We’ll be wishing you sunshine and warmth, Roy!
We’d love to hear from you: Have you ever received customer service that left a long lasting impression?
With the arrival of Jockey spokesman Tim Tebow in the Big Apple, NYC has been buzzing with excitement. To show support for our favorite quarterback, we placed a billboard hours after the trade on the New Jersey side of the Lincoln Tunnel reading, “We support Tebow & New York.”
To live up to our “We support New York” message, Jockey hit the streets of NYC to dish out t-shirts and underwear from our newest and coolest collection – Jockey staycool – a favorite of Tebow’s. The sampling event took place in Union Square and Grand Central. We’d like to think of Jockey underwear as support everyone can count on.
We were thrilled to see high-level energy surrounding the giveaway event. Believe it or not, free underpants can get folks pretty rowdy. In between chants of “Jockey staycool,” our crews fitted New Yorkers with tees and undies, exclusive coupons and a chance to WIN a trip to meet Tim Tebow at The ESPYs (the red carpet event of the sports world) in July.
And, while we can’t fully confirm, we think lead singer from the band Journey might have gotten himself some Jockey staycool. But, check out the pictures below and decide for yourself.

The sun was shining, golf balls were flying and Jockey undies were spread about. For the second year, Jockey was an elite sponsor of the Tim Tebow Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic. The event took place Saturday, April 14 at the world-famous TPC Sawgrass course in Ponte Vedra, FL.
As part of the Tim Tebow Foundation’s mission, the Celebrity Golf Classic raises funds to bring faith, hope and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hours of need. This was most definitely a beautiful event that involved wonderful people all for a great cause.
At the crack of dawn, golfers hit the range to brush up on their game and exchange laughs. Thanks to the awesome location of our Jockey tent, we caught exclusive video of Masters Champion Bubba Watson and Jockey spokesman Tim Tebow teeing off. We can’t fully confirm, but we’re willing to wager a few pair of undies they hit their golf balls into another area code. Phew!
To provide some on-course action, we sweetened up one hole by coining it the “Staycool under pressure” hole. If hitting in front of tons of people wasn’t nerve racking enough, we tested golfers by giving them a chance to move their balls if they hit targets randomly placed in the fairway – with a football. OK, we might have favored our favorite quarterback a little! BUT, there was one hook: At least two of the four golfers in the group had to hit the target for the group to advance their golf balls.
No great Jockey event goes without our favorite little friend, Mini Brief. As always, he managed to steal the show. Check out Mini Brief and the rest of our fun pictures from the Tebow Celebrity Golf Classic below.

In spirit of the upcoming Tim Tebow Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic, we decided it was only fitting to have a miniature golf contest around the office. For some, it was a chance to show off, and for others, well, they gave it their best shot.
To make things interesting, we sprinkled in our own obstacles – office style. In place of spinning windmills and waterfalls, we dodged and weaved around desks and chair legs. If anyone tells you it’s tough to read the break on a golf course green, try making sense of it on carpet.
With frequent “ooo’s and ahh’s” roaring from nearby cubicles, we only had one golfer sink both putts. In a calm, cool and collected manner, Keven from our marketing research team put his putts right on the money. Check out his form! As for the rest of us, we’ll stick to making underpants.
For the second straight year, Jockey is an elite sponsor of Tim Tebow’s celebrity golf classic, which takes place at the world-famous TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra, FL. The event unfolds April 14 and is highlighted with golfers paired with celebrities. The star-studded lineup includes: Rascal Flatts, Bubba Watson, Lindsey Vonn, Gary Sheffield, Fred Durst, Jordin Sparks, and more.
To make sure you don’t miss a thing, we’ll be tweeting from our @Jockey Twitter handle at the event. Stay tuned! Plus, check back next week for our blog post. We’ll share our favorite pictures from the event and some behind-the-scenes action.
See ya’ on Twitter.

We’ll apologize in advance for mentioning the “w” word in spring, BUT we have a good reason. We just received exciting news that the winners from our Jockey Staycool Winter Getaway returned home from their trip (with pictures!). If you missed it, back in November we hosted a contest on our Facebook page offering one lucky fan and a guest an all-expense-paid trip to hit the slopes in beautiful Vail, Colorado.
The winners, Amy and Tony from Florida, were kind enough to share their experiences and trip highlights along with some terrific photos.
“On our first day,” Amy and Tony shared, “We definitely took time getting accustomed to the high altitude. The weather was warm and sunny and we enjoyed exploring the town, settling into our hotel and getting fitted with ski equipment.” Day two included hitting the slopes and brushing up on their skiing skills. “The conditions were icy at first, but the snow softened up as we got more confident with our skis. We spent all day at Mid Vail and also alternated between Mountaintop and Wildwood Express.”
Like any good vacation, hitting up the local restaurants always makes for a good time and awesome eats. This was true for Amy and Tony. “There were so many fabulous restaurants to choose from. Some our favorites were Pepi’s German Restaurant, pizza at Vendetta’s and burgers on the deck at Red Lion.”
We’d love to hear, have you ever been to Vail, Colorado? If so, what are some of your favorite memories?
Now for the fun part – pictures! Thanks to Amy and Tony, we have a few to share with you. Enjoy!

Ok. We’ll admit. The recyclable undies we were flaunting around on April 1 aren’t real. Total bummer, we know. In case you missed it, we created a fake collection of men’s and women’s disposable undies known as the Jockey Brief Brief. Crafted with a sophisticated, yet sleek design, our Brief Brief was manufactured from 100% recycled paper to offer the ultimate on-the-go convenience – you could toss them in the garbage when you were finished. We hope everyone enjoyed the video and laughed as much as we did.
Here are some outtakes from the making of our April Fool’s Day Jockey Brief Brief video.
